Welcome to the Surly Nation. As the Creative Director for Bidwell ID, I had the honor of kicking ass for a kick-ass brewery. Hard to go wrong with a name like Surly. Owner Omar Ansari had only one directive–think energy drinks. Done and doner. Logo to cans, swag to interactive and beyond. We had one hell of a time creating, designing, illustrating, copy writing, and photographing all aspects of the Surly Brewing Co. brand. Only one complaint about Surly–you have to be in Minnesota to get Surly.
